This petite and delicate arrangement was inspired by dancer Judith Jamison’s solo performance in 1971 ‘Cry,’ choreographed by Alvin Ailey. In the photographs of the performance, you can see the passion and elegance she embraces while wearing a delightful long white dress. In her interpretation of this powerful dance, she said, she represented those women before her who came from hardship and endured pain and suffering and still triumphed; it is quite exquisite and impeccable ballet. White roses represent grace, humility, and elegance.
